WELCOME TO OUR NEW STORY!

FORWARD
Leadership is about raising others up and empowering them to reach their full potential. Our lessons come from Scripture, where we see God encouraging leaders to mentor and uplift those around them. As you seek to lead, it’s crucial that you encourage others, recognizing and nurturing their gifts and talents. Successful team leadership is based upon having our Lord and Savior as the foundation of your life. The Bible emphasizes the importance of teamwork and unity. Leaders create a legacy that extends beyond them.
Each Bible verse we have selected is a lesson for you to learn and share with others. This writing was created not as a quick read, but as a study guide that you can come back to time and time again all through your life. Take the lessons one at a time, memorize and apply them to your understanding of leadership.

FINAL THOUGHTS
If you become a team captain (or not), consider the following key qualities and steps:
· Self-Motivation: Be the first to show up and the last to leave, demonstrating your commitment to the team.
· Clearly articulate the team's goals and strategies, and listen to your teammates' thoughts and concerns.
· Support your teammates' hard work and improvement for a positive team environment.
· Remind everyone that success comes from collective effort rather than individual achievements.
· Pray every day that you keep Jesus first in everything you do, in season and off season.
· Pray every day for all those you love, including parents, family, coach, and teammates.
Humility is one of the most essential qualities you can possess as a leader. It goes against the natural inclination of wanting control and recognition. Instead, you can find freedom and strength in being a humble servant—just like Jesus modeled for us. When you lead in humility, you foster environments where everyone feels valued and important, which ultimately strengthens your leadership.
Leadership comes with its share of challenges and obstacles. However, through your faith and reliance on God, you can rise above these struggles. The Bible offers powerful reminders of perseverance and resilience that you can draw strength from Scripture, knowing that you are not alone.
Each challenge you face can be an opportunity for growth, shaping you into the leader God has called you to be.
As you reflect on the verses about leadership, it’s clear that God’s Word provides rich guidance for you to lead. Your role as a leader means empowering others and fostering a spirit of support and encouragement. Challenges may come our way, but through faith and reliance on God’s strength, we can overcome them.
“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
